French Copper Daubiere

Antique French cookware. Copper lined daubiere or dutch oven braising pot. Made in the mid to late 1800s and handcrafted by and artisan, using the plannished method of fabrication. Each hammer mark can be clearly seen as a sign of the craftsmanship, alongside the dovetail joints. The lid is beautifully handcrafted and formed by hand with the hammer marks clearly visible. The handles are hand-forged iron. The condition is good, with signs of wear consummate with age, as you would expect from a piece this old. See photos. The interior is fully tin-lined and considered very usable.
