“I grew up in California and both of my parents were interior designers. So, my love for antiques and vintage pieces started at the age of 15. In California, I was a antique dealer in two different malls. I also did all the top flea markets and antique shows up and down the coast.
I moved to North Carolina in 2013 and opened two booth spaces prior to opening the French Farmer’s Wife barn six years ago. It now opens twice a year and buyers come from all over the country to shop French and European antiques. My Instagram and Facebook sales took off in a huge way, so after much encouragement and interest from my customers, I knew I needed this website.
I love to style my own home, which, as you can imagine, I even change around daily. My favorite style is rustic French. My other passion is gardening and incorporating antiques there. What do I collect? Ironstone, quilts, bread boards, dough bowl, books, iron doorstops, Barbola mirrors, French grain sacks and zinc, baskets and chandeliers. I live with what I love!
I hope you’ll visit this site often, because I will add new pieces all the time: shipments of hand-picked items arrive often and you never know what one-of-a-kind treasure will show up here. Follow me on social media to see what I’m up to in my home, the barn, and here on the website.”
